This is pretty good and definitely different. I think Sesshomaru should definitely be running for the Senate and they are usually between 25 and 30. He could be a political prodigy or genius or something. .

It is certainly something that could be expounded upon, political intrigue, murder and mayhem. Especially with Naraku involved. And more than enough romance to be found. Like if Kagome overhears someone in Sesshomaru's camp conspiring with Naraku's people.
