Actually, I have to admit, I tend to do that with Sessmom's character quite often, making her contentious and bitchy, simply because of the way she behaves in the manga. But there will be other stories where she won't be quite as bad... in fact, she's getting ready for her debut in my other fic, Windows on the West - and she'd gonna be a bit different there, too.
