Ancient Priestess Kagome

          Description:

I got the idea for this from a link that Janey-jane posted that has references for Japanese clothing. I saw this outfit and thought it was awesome. I just had to draw Kagome in it.
This is the description from the outfit that I used: The costumes of this era are deduced from the descriptions of Kojiki and Nihonshoki, and examination of clay figures found in remains. This woman wears a jacket with the right side under the left over Mo with stripes. The jacket is tied up with the top and bottom strings. She also wears a wide Tasuki (sash) with triangle patterns and paints her face with red clay which creates peculiar impression. The Tasuki, a trace of the older civilization, makes us imagine that the woman was a shaman serving God. A sash called Myoe has been handed down generation to generation and it is now used in religious rituals at the Grand Shrines of Ise.
I changed some of the designs for it. Obviously, the face paint design is Sesshomaru's markings. :)
I also made the sash tying at the waist the same design as the one Sesshomaru wears.
