Since forthright and Aimee Blue asked!!

Antakshari is a singing game we play in India. It can be played in groups, as teams, or as individuals in a group.

The Rules

1. One person starts the game by singing a song. The general rule is to sing the first stanza and the chorus of the song.

2. Then, the next person sings another song - and the first word of the song must begin with the last letter of the previous song.

3. You may not repeat a song. If it's been sung, it's been sung.

4. You may play more than once, but not twice in a row.

5. Your song MUST begin with the last letter, or to be more specific, the last sound of the previous song

6. You MUST give the first stanza and chorus of the song, ONLY.

7. You MUST put up the lyrics of the aforementioned parts up here, with the name of the song, and the artist. (Song name and artist aren't really necessary....it's more so that we can have more great songs to hunt out and listen to!)

Here's mine:

How good it can be, by The 88

With the cops on your lips it's a holy routine
If you'd stop all your trips you could see what I mean
I forgot not to slip 'bout you're under 18
You had it in your hands

Leave it up to me
It's a known disease
Keep it in your fleece
Don't worry about the custom police, don't
I'll tell you just how good it can be, this lazy summer!

Now your turn...but remember the rules..next song must start with "R"!

At last with lots of prompting from the lovely naq i have arrived. I bow to her magicalness and grovel for forgiveness for not getting it!

Maria - My Favorite Things Lyrics- Sound of Music

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

Now sing it with me!

It took a while to find a song that started with D but I found it

Dear Vienna by Owl City

Dear Vienna
I regarded the world as such a sad sight
Until I viewed it in Black & White
And I reviewed every frame in basic shape
And sealed the exits with caution tape
(Dear Vienna)
Don’t refocus your eyes in the darkness
And don’t remember this place unless
I describe all the things that you cannot see
And we’ll unravel the mystery

Farewell
All my friends
In Textbooks
I’m going home
Cause my blood cells cannot depend on the weather in photographs
There’s a light show, out my window
Somewhere, way up there
Dear Vienna (Dear Vienna) are you singing
Dear Vienna are you swinging
Dear Vienna (Dear Vienna) We were happy like the shades of May
When we got carried away

It took me a LONG time to find a Y, I had to search all over my computer. Finally, I found one, a really oldie lol.

Backstreet Boys - What makes you different (makes you beautiful)

You don't run with the crowd
You go your own way
You don't play after dark
You light up my day
Got your own kind of style
That sets you apart
Baby, that's why you captured my heart

What makes you different, (alright) makes you beautiful (alright)
What's there inside you, (alright) shines through to me
In your eyes I see, all the love I'll ever need
You're all I need, oh girl
What makes you different, makes you beautiful to me

"Edelweiss" is a song from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music.

Edelweiss, Edelweiss
Every morning you greet me
Small and white clean and bright
You look happy to meet me
Blossom of snow may you bloom and grow
Bloom and grow forever
Edelweiss, Edelweiss
Bless my homeland forever.

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothin's worryin' me

Woah...that was super duper hard actually..
Dont forget! the next one has to start with "E"
XDXDXDXD
