I don't know if many have compared the family crest on Sesshomaru kimono to actual family crests of the Sengoku Jidai but it is the crest of the Asai clan located in the Omi Province who were allies of the Asakura clan as well as the Oda clan. The leader married Oda Nobunaga's sister Oda Oichi.
The highlighted province is Omi:
