you may not be able to help here but I'm grateful none the less.

I am unable to download a spark story. (I wish to download it incase it's removed)

As far as I know, there has never been any convenient way of downloading stories on Spark or Dokuga. If you want to have a copy of a story saved on your computer, you have to copy and paste it into a word processor document. Is there something wrong with the story that is preventing you from doing that?

An alternative way of saving stories is to right click each chapter page and save it to your computer, like in your documents file. Your ease in doing this is probably limited to how well your browser interfaces with the site. To the best of my knowledge, Chrome and FireFox are best for this.

There are only two downloaders I know of that work for Dokuga. The fanfiction downloader plugin for Calibre and the one you can get off Carl T's yahoo group. I don't think there is another one out there that works. The only other way to get the story is what you've already heard as suggestions.
