Does anyone know if the mark on Midoriko's forehead means something or is it just a decoration?

I think the face markings are generally supposed to indicate some kind of high status or lots of power-- I don't have a source for that, but I think she just has it because she's fancy.

Ah. Thanks. I was beginning to think it was something of a power status indicator. I guess I can just make something up for a story if there's nothing concrete to it.
