Hey everyone, this is my first challenge and I thought it would be fun to just run with it!
According to Japanese myth, soul mates are connected by an invisible red thread tied to each person's pinky finger. The two people connected by the string are destined to be lovers regardless of time, place or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle but never break.
So here's my challenge, come up with a story in which you use this myth as the central idea. I look forward to what you all come up with!
This challenge is completely open. No deadline, and any rating is allowed as long as you state if its M or MA when you post.
I would love to award all participants with a banner but alas I am not artistically inclined so if anyone wants to contribute one, that'd be very much appreciated!

I don't have time for this at the moment, but when I do, I definitely want to do it! This seems like a great challenge!!!

I like the thought of doing this but at a much later time as I am busy with other challenges. I draw though so will this be available for Fanart?
