I had this random dream of writing a story based on a list of words. So I thought it would be a good challenge. If it becomes popular maybe I will continue the idea.
Basically I give a list of ten words and you must use at least eight of them in one chapter or a one-shot. There is no maximum or minimum but the words must used properly.
Karma will be given to anyone who uses all ten words.
The first deadline is one month from now: May 26th.
The words:
Fruity
Sludge
Random
Song
Mosey
Scam
Tea
Rose
Shrimp
Pen
You may use any variation of tenses or plurals, so pen can be changed to pens and mosey to moseyed... etc.

If the particular word has more than one meaning do we just pick which meaning we'll define?

Alrighty... I might be adventurous and do all ten words one-shot style but first I have to go back over all my stories that I posted here and do a mass edit (but I'm pretty sure I edited all my stories for grammatical errors though)

Post the link to your story here so others can read it if they come along this thread... I suppose we could do a contest if many people are interested. Then we would need a banner and I'm not so good at those. Perhaps I can look into and see if someone is interested in helping make a banner then turning this into a contest of sorts.
