Phishy's greetings! 14 Years ago Karma: 31
Well gang, the phishy and her hubby are far from home right now. Greetings from Amish Country, Ohio! Luckily this inn has wireless or I couldn't say hi. I'm using my iPod touch to type this. The swans are mean, horse buggies everywhere & a bizarre mix of Amish and Swiss culture to be seen. We are gonna have noms at Amish family's house for dinner as part of the inn's package tonight too.

Well, wish the phishy luck! If you don't hear from me, the swans got me. If that is the case, send mokomoko-sama to avenge me!

Swans are usually aggressive if you're near their nests, so keep your distance - they have a nasty bite... I assume. I've only ever been bitten by a duck. It nipped. ^^;

Mokomoko-sama is geared up and ready to go if you run into any problems. Good luck!

The phish is back from Amish Country and Ohio's Little Switzerland.

My list of interesting crap is:
    I seen bunnies! And duckies!
Horse drawn buggies were everywhere, and so was the droppings.
I got a duck fly-by, within 2 feet of my head, I swear!!!
A turkey buzzed our car on the way home.
I didn't get to ride a horse because of crap-weather
I watched tv and videos. The 24 hour Amish visitor's channel was on a loop, every ten minutes. I learned new words! Yay!
I ate noms with an amish family (who had the most awesomest wall clock)!
I was at a bakery and saw pies!!!!! I have a new list of pies to throw now.
    We ate...... a lot.
    We got lost..... a lot.
We were almost ran off the road by a herd of horses, who got out of their paddock.
I tasted a loooooooooooot of wine........a lot. XD
A store owner performed imprompto magic. The wallet that catches on fire was awesome!
I sampled a lot of food at the stores. Mmmmmmmmm....
    I ate roadside bbq'ed chicken.
I was offered a basset hound. lol
Nothing (resterants, stores, anything) is opened on Sunday. And everything closes around 5 or 6pm on weekends.

We bought:
    Dandilion wine,
    Ruhbarb wine,
    snack mixes,
    cheese,
    postcards and magnets,
    ghost pepper hot sauce,
    and tons of weird crap.

I missed you guys!!!! *huggle*
