Okay. I have a paper bin that was to the top full. I grabbed a large, garden size garbage bag. I filled up said garbage back with not necessary old papers, such as old tests and the like. I put everything that way left, the important stuff, back into the bin. The bin is still the same height of fullness. O.o How is this possible?

Probably because when you put the stuff back in the bin after going through all the paper, the papers were "fluffed" up and not so packed in there, so it looks the same. This happens at work, then the patient charts get too condensed in one area, we just start from the bottom and slide them over to space them out and the air from moving them makes they fluff out (as we call it).
