Kagome's voice when she said it was as calm as a feather upon the wind. Thought Inuyasha. As though a major paradigm shift had not just occurred. With his loss of the battle, Sesshomaru was now Alpha of the pack. And somehow he knew it would change things forever. With a sigh, Inuyasha spoke, his eyes on the Miko and his friends.

“You say that Kagome only because you don't know what just happened.” Inuyasha began.

But the look on her face stopped further words. As Kagome herself spoke.

“On the contrary Inuyasha, I can guess.” She said.
