Bamboo Serpent

Kagome was quite excited as Mr. Tashio led her around the campus.  She was having quite a good time and not only was he intellectual but he was quite funny as well.  Although it wasn't that he was talking alot, because that wasn't true.  But the way he said the few things that he spoke were emphasized in the correct way that struck a funny cord within her. 

"I hope you've enjoyed the tour and that you decide to join us here at Tashio University."  He said as he looked at her, giving a very small, quick smile.

"Oh I really think I may have made my decision.  I do positively love it here."  Kagome said with a bright smile that reached her eyes. 

"Well I wish you luck in your endeavors and am looking forward to hearing from you."  He said as he nodded and parted in the direction of his office.

Kagome was walking home, she was quite excited, though since the heat was beating down rather hard she took off her blazer.  This left her in a black skirt and lavender tank top.  It was certainly much better and easier to breathe.  But there was just something that unsettled her.  She could not explain it but she felt as if she were being followed.

She was truly something, this young woman that he was following.  She had caught his eye and it was entertaining that she did not seem to know the reality of her origin or that he was following her.  She had just met the Tashio fool and seemed quite enchanting with him.  Sesshomaru Tashio was always ruining his plans.  He followed her as a serpent would, slinking in the shadows. 

"Soon."  His gravelly voice was a whisper on the wind as he watched her with keen eyes.  "I shall possess you soon, Kagome."

A/N: I'd like to thank my newest reviewer.  You actually inspired me to get this chapter up.  It will be a little bit before the identity of the mysterious figure is revealed.  But i have plans for Kagome.  I hope you liked her first interaction with Sesshomaru.  It is certainly going to be interesting having them meet up on Campus and such things.  It also seems as if this stranger knows something more about Kagome and didn't Sesshomaru certainly act strange about her?  Only time will tell.  Please read and review and let me know what you think!
