Saying goodbye to Siblings

Kagome made her way home, the entire time she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being followed.  She bit into her soft pink lower lip and shook her head.  It was just her imagination after talking with her grandfather.  She didn't know how she was going to say goodbye to Sota though.

When she arrived home her mother handed her a cup of tea, saying grandfather had called from the hospital and ordered her to hand that to Kagome when she walked in the door.  Although she found it strange she took it and gladly took a sip from at as she sat in front of the television with her mother.  The tea was good, a bit odd, but good all the same.  They descended into the comfortable conversation that she always found easily with her mother.  She smiled at Sota as he walked in the room. 

"Sota...come sit over here by me will you?"  Kagome said as she looked at her brother fondly.

"Sure Kags, what's up?"  He said, he looked like he wanted to be doing other things and he was getting to that age.

"I'm going to be leaving soon."

"WHY?"

"It's time for me to go to college.  I'm going to looking at the ones in the area today.  I wanted to let you know that I love you.  I'll always Love you.  You can talk to me about anything Sota.  And just because I'm moving on to another stage in my life doesn't mean I'll stop loving you."  She said as she pulled Sota in for a hug.

"Okay Sis.  Can I go now?"

"Yes Sota...go ahead."  She chuckled at his impatience.
