Strange Dreams and Fearsome Storms

Fulgurant – (adj) Flashing like lightning; brilliant, dazzlingly bright.

Crack!  

The startling sound tore her from her world of dreams.  It was so strange, she had dreamed she was back in the Feudal Era.  There was heartbreak and an evil demon named Naraku who was trying to take of the world.  Strange.

BOOM!

The raven haired female had never like storms, not since she was a child and to this day, although had recently graduated high school, she hated storms still.   She walked onto her balcony as she could smell the sizzle of power in the air and saw the fulgurant flashing off of the other houses and from the windows.  It certainly was a powerful storm.  It seems the gods of lightening and thunder are fighting tonight.

The young woman’s name was Kagome Hirugashi and she could not shake the feeling that this was not where she was destined to be and that she wasn’t born in the right century.  The feeling never left her and she sighed quietly.  Tomorrow it would be off to look at colleges, she was smart and that would work to her advantage.  Tomorrow was when the real challenge for her would begin.
