"Why won't this thing work?" She drove her fist into the  ground. After a few seconds passed she rolled on her side and cursed her luck. A small red sliver appeared on her knuckle, blood began to well up and spill. "Rawr! Stupid well, why won't you let me get back home!?"

"Because you've decidedly been using your fists when your head makes for a much sharper tool," sighed the  familiar peeking over the well's stone edge. "Hey, Kagome, it's getting late."

"Stop saying that! It sounds weird!" She angrily looked up with small tears running. "Call me woman or or priestess or hell even girl!"

"But...Kagome is your name."

"And I've never heard you say it! Except for the two times you did just now and a couple of times earlier...but none those don't even count! It just sounds so weird coming from you... well kind of you... you period."

"Oookay," he tilted his head. "Then what do you want me to call you?"

"WAH!" Her knuckle had accidentally brushed against the wall. As the cut burned she hissed to herself, "SOB!" Before she  placed the injury in her mouth a large olive hand wrapped around her wrist.

"Alright, Wa-sob, it's getting late." He pulled her up and into his arms.

"H-hang on a sec," she blushed against him, but they were already up in the air. Kagome squinted under the dying  sun until they landed just outside the well. "I can't believe that you just did that?"

He stared at her briefly before pulling her along.

"Hey! Just where do you think you're taking me?"

"Where do you think?" He returned with a scowl.

Kagome nearly tripped in shock. Did he just...? No! That's impossible. This guy has got be someone else...who just happens to look and sound like him. She struggled to break free but failed. I mean we're touching for crying out loud! Last I checked he didn't do touch.  She spied on the white triangles on top his head. Maybe be this guy is just a close relative...

"Ah! Sesshomaru!" A woman called.

...or not.
