Sesshomaru pushed her across the terminal’s floor.
The few people who remained were station workers. They were either leaving or preparing to go. Meanwhile, he still had another half hour to binge.
At the pace he had set he would get them to her manager’s in time to clock out.
A tune played and Kagome huffed. Vehemently, she typed away on her phone.
He couldn’t help himself. “What’s the matter?”
“This dude I know sent me a text. Acting like he’s all worried and wants to know if I’m ok.”
Sesshomaru blinked. “And the problem?”
“He could’ve easily just called!”
