Kag's POV

"Yeah, I guess so." I never really looked at Sesshomaru that way. Yeah, I knew he was a demon lord, but rich guys were rude... like Hojo. Hugh don't get me started on him.

"Kagome?" Eri waved a hand in front of my face.

"What?" I said it a bit snappier than I had intended.

"Well, you still have that date with Hojo tonight?" I gave them a deadpanned look before leaving for my locker. They followed.

"Kagome!" Ai stopped me from opening my locker. "You know you can't just stand him up."

"Yeah? Watch me." She and the others backed off, not understanding why I suddenly hated Hojo. I didn't really get it either, but lately he has been so annoying.

Then I saw Inuyasha, standing outside in a red baseball cap, t-shirt, and blue jeans. My heart fluttered and my brain killed such a thought. I would not let my heart play tricks on me again. Especially not like that one time, but that would definately never happen again.

I mean, wouldn't it look bad for him to fall in love with me now?
