Rubber Duckies!

Souta's POV

I didn't understand why sis trusted this guy, but hey, if he was willing to get me away that creepy old man, I didn't care if his name meant 'killing perfection.'

For some reason I couldn't sleep at all the first night, so I got up and went looking for sis. Of course in this big mansion, I got lost. I was somewhat happy when I saw a big door with a Shiba Inu carved into it. I thought it meant that I had found Sesshomaru and he would know where sis was.

Boy was I wrong... The second I opened the door, I wanted to slam it shut, but my arm wouldn't work. I heard cursing before the familiar dog-eared person got up and shut the door before dragging me to another place in the house. We entered a decorated bed room with a big, forest green bed. Sesshomaru was sitting at the head of the bed, typing something up. He looked up from the computer and looked to be sniffing the air before cursing. Suddenly I was in a bathroom, bent over a toilet seat. A second later I was reliving last night's dinner.

I was grateful it was over quick. I heard the water from the sink running before a washrag was rubbed against my face. Finally voices started to become clearer.

"Inuyasha, what did he see that caused him to get so sick?"

"How am I supposed to know? What's a little kid even doing in the house anyways? Did you find him on the side of the road or something?"

"The question remains." I was being placed in the bed with a bowl in my lap. Sesshomaru sighed, "Just forget it and go get the miko ready for school."

"Okay." With that Inuyasha left me alone with the dog demon and his computer.

I tried to get up and ready for school myself, but before I could get out of the bed I was pulled back in. "Stay put. You got sick, you're not going today." And that's how I spent most of the day, other than sleeping for a few hours. Sesshomaru was in and out and sometimes brought in food for me to try to eat. Around 6 am he told me if I didn't get sick for just one more hour, he'd let me go back to my room. So I spent an hour looking through TV channels trying to find something interesting to help waste away the hour and stopped when I saw Inuyasha on the screen.

He was saying something about ducks. "And we don't save 'em no one will!" With that Inuyasha put a rubber duck hat on his head and I got that odd feeling in my stomach.

Looks like I'm stuck here for a while.
