Baby it's cold outside

When Kagome walked back over to Sesshomaru she was crying, he merely opened his arms and she went right into his lap, snuggling into his chest and every so often hiccuping from her tears. He hated seeing her like this and knowing that he had been the cause. He tried to think of something that would cheer her up.

“Would you like to watch more holiday themed movies with reindeer as the main protagonist?” Sesshomaru said and she looked up at him and just started laughing. “What? What did I say?”

“Nothing.” She said with a smile. “I'm just very glad I chose you and you are so sweet. Go ahead pop in another movie, maybe one that you like this time?” She said as he gently sat her on the couch cushion and went over to the movie selection once again.

It took him a while over at the selection but he finally picked one out, making sure to hide it from her, she assumed for the purpose of surprising her what the movie was, he took his place next to her and to her surprise brought them both fresh mugs of hot cocoa. Apparently, this kiss although not forgotten, was not important to him at the moment. She settled in and took a sip of the cocoa and closed her eyes in bliss, she truly thought this was as close to paradise as she could get. As they started to watch the movie Kagome was confused, she was quite sure that she never had seen this one before and turned to him with a questioning look.
