Kagome smiled happily as she watched the elves in the movie, it was after all, one of her favorite Christmas movies. She was happy that she could sit here with Sesshomaru and do this, for his part he didn't complain at all and even commented a couple of times on the movie with non snarky comments, of which she was surprised. The Taiyoukai seemed to have no trouble accepting the pretense of this movie, but he had changed much since she knew him back then and so did she.

She stretched her arms above her head as the movie was drawing to a close. She smiled at him and before she knew it his lips were approaching hers and when they kissed there was no other word she could use to describe it besides fireworks. Her entire world lit up and all of the sudden Kagome could feel again. She felt more like her old self and when he pulled away she hopped into his lap to follow him, she wanted more of this, she wanted to feel again.

“Don't stop kissing me Sesshomaru, I can feel again when you kiss me, I don't want to go back to that cold world I normally inhabit, please...” She whispered against his lips and he felt his heart pull at her words, but if he were to get any more invested in this than he already was he needed something from her.

“I need you to make a promise Kagome.” He said as his lips brushed hers as he spoke, making her shutter.

“What? Anything.” Her eyes were closed and her body was practically vibrating against his.

“Get rid of him.”

“What?” This made her pause and open her eyes to see his golden, though there were definitely threadings of red throughout them, eyes staring back at her seriously.

“Get rid of the bandit, he cannot give you what you need. I can. Get rid of him and be mine, and I'll restore you to your former glory.” He said as he watched her, he still held her closely to her body and she wasn't more than a few inches from his person. She whispered something he couldn't quite hear. “What was that love?”

“I said okay, I'm yours.” She whispered as they kissed once again and she saw fireworks for a second time.

It took all of his self control to pull away again.

“You need to tell him.” He whispered and watched that sad look that entered her eyes. “I know you don't want to and this isn't the way you would want to even if you were going to break up with him. But you need to do it now, so I know you are completely here with me and mine. That you are not thinking of him.” He said and saw her slow nod of acceptance.

“Alright, excuse me a moment, I have a phone call to make.” She said as she untangled herself from his limbs and walked into the other room. She quickly called Bankotsu, he was sure to be furiously with her and she didn't want to do it this way, but it needed to be done, Sesshomaru was right.
