Kagome giggled to herself, inordinately happy about the success of 'The Ralph Incident' that had happened two days ago. Sesshoumaru had complained bitterly after Sango came to retrieve the animal that the stench of reindeer was permanently imprinted into his nose. Of course, she had acted like she was sympathetic and had promised to never again bring animals into the house, at least, not without notifying her mate first. But what he didn't know and what made it even sweeter was that the mischevous miko had asked Sango to borrow the calm but potently-smelly animal; rather than the other way around. 

"Shippo it was absolutely amazing! He looked like I'd placed a stinkbomb right under his nose! Gosh, I wish you could've been there to see it."

"As do I, Kagome." The kitsune chuckled wryly, imagining the inuyoukai's face scrunched up in disgust at 'Ralph'. 

"So, do you have any other ideas for me?"

Shippo glanced up at his friend from his hot chocolate, surprised at the manic smile that was spreading across her attractive face. Interesting. It seemed like she was hooked on the sweet taste of vengeance. And he would facilitate that desire as well as any trickster could- with his own personal touches of course. 

"You do realise that he will retaliate, don't you? It's not like Sesshoumaru to let anyone walk all over him, even if it is his mate."

The young woman snorted gracelessly, unconcerned. 

"He's already tried to poison me, what else can he do? Whatever he tries, I will be the winner of this war."

"War? I thought the aim was to get him to enjoy Christmas?"

She waved her hand dismissively.

"That is now the secondary objective. Shippo, this is a serious rivalry and I need all the help you can give me. Throw any and all ideas you have my way, okay?"

The fox glanced behind the miko to stare at his reflection in the bright ornaments hanging from the cafes' small tree. This could prove to be dangerous territory. Both sides were getting quite heated and he was playing them both against one another for his own entertainment. If he wasn't careful, this could end in serious trouble... Throwing caution to the wind, the prankster decided to continue this charade; after all, he hadn't had this much fun in months!

Smiling, he nodded at his female companion.
