            Kagome didn’t mind cars, or airplanes, or even rowboats, but she did have a problem with ships– disgustingly huge cruise ships, like the one she was currently on.

            And while Kagome loved journeys, and quests, and trips, she hated voyages, like the one she was currently taking.

            Kagome flopped onto the bed and groaned pitifully.

            “Dress yourself, miko.”

            Kagome sat up and turned to glare at the daiyoukai who was fixing his tie in the mirror.

            “I am dressed,” she snapped.

            “We have dinner with one of my associates; dress yourself appropriately.”

            “No!”

            He didn’t bother turning around to look at her. “Dress yourself, miko, or I will dress you.”

            Kagome stared at his reflection appraisingly. Then she scowled. He would definitely do it, and he’d enjoy it too.

            “Well, why do I have to go?” she whined.

            He finally turned to her. “Miko,” he rumbled lowly in warning.

            She threw her hands up in the air, signaling defeat. “Fine, fine! But when I get seasick and throw up in your hair, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.”

            Sesshomaru raised an eyebrow.

            “What?” she demanded testily. “I’m just warning you. Heed it or don’t, I really don’t care!”
