The inuyoukai snorted, a minute frown on his flawless face. He had accompanied the woman to the well- his useless sibling being too busy in the arms of the clay miko to make time for the living one- and as he waited for her to return, he mulled over her latest tune.

He had no idea what coffee was, but that didn't matter. The words he could understand were nonsensical and ridiculous.

Comparing one's affection for another to seasoning in a meat dish seemed beyond silly in his estimation. Rather like the miko. But in her case, silly was acceptable.
