Chapter 12: Vampire

A rumbling growl sounded in Sesshoumaru’s chest. “Speak only my name,” he said, his breath warm against her ear. He smirked wickedly when Kagome trembled in his arms.

Sesshoumaru-sa–”

The silver-haired male leaned down and flicked his tongue over the skin of her neck. He reveled in her gasp of surprise, repeating the action in encouragement. “Again,” he ordered.

Kagome tried to turn her head to look at him. “But I-I–” She was shocked into silence when Sesshoumaru nipped at her flesh.

Say my name… Kagome,” he uttered, voice low.

Se-sesshou–”

This time, he bit her in the same spot, soothing the aching wound with his moist appendage. His lips suckled at his newest treat, while his hands massaged her hips, bringing her closer. “Good girl.”

Panting slightly, the woman nearly coughed at his remark. “I resent that, mister. I’m not the dog in this situation.”

Sesshoumaru huffed softly, securing his limbs more carefully around her. “You are–”

He was cut off by the piercing wail of the forgotten kettle. It didn’t last long, for the unfortunate teapot soon found its demise at the hands, or rather, claws of the annoyed daiyoukai.

“…You owe me another one,” Kagome grumbled.
