V: Apparition

The next day Kagome stretched and realized that she had actually woken up before Sesshomaru, which was a rare thing indeed.  She quietly slipped out of bed and got into the shower.  She figured she would get ready for the day, she had been invited to a costume party that night and she was anxious to see how Sesshomaru dealt with it.  She was going to go out and get a sexy costume just to watch the demon lord be speechless.

As she got out of the shower and twirled her hair up and out of her eyes she looked in the mirror and gasped, dropping her wooden brush on the floor.  

"You scared me!"  Kagome said as she hit Sesshomaru's shoulder, he had appeared like an apparition in the mirror.  "Don't do that!"   Kagome said and heard nothing but his short chuckle and then a typical,

"Hn."
