When the girls returned to the men Kagome took a deep breath and she prayed to the kamis to bless Koga with wisdom.  It really just wouldn’t do for her to be upset just now.  The last thing Kagome wanted was for Ayame to be stressed out and something happen. 

“Koga, I have something I have to tell you.”  Ayame said taking another deep breath.

“Come, have a drink and be merry my love!”  Koga said, obviously he had had his fair share of bloodwine already.

“I cannot do that my love.”  Ayame said, tears starting to form in her beautiful eyes. 

“And why not!?”  Koga said a bit loudly.

“Because Koga, I am carrying the princess of the south.” 

Koga stopped, completely stopped, looked at Ayame; and passed out.
