Kagome was soothed by his very touch; it slowly brought her out of her sleeping state.  He was looking straight at her, burning into her with his intense amber gaze.

“Don’t you have something else to do?”  Kagome said in a quiet lilting voice, something felt different; she felt odd.

“Hn.”  He did not speak to her just inclined his head at her, continuing to stare at her and not saying a word. 

“Didn’t your mother teach you that it was impolite to stare?”  Kagome said as she rolled her eyes at the demon lord.

“That is of no consequence.”
