Chapter 10: Catalyst

It was no question that he enjoyed taunting his brother about his mixed blood, mocking him about the weaknesses he inherited from his human mother.

His own dam might have claimed the Dog General’s affair was his last act of compassion for his favorite pets, but he had known better. Hiding away in an obscure castle in the sky was not the reaction of an unaffected mate, after all.

And while his personal vendetta against Inuyasha was childish, he knew it would be difficult to suddenly undo his centuries of despising him.

If only he didn’t look like their father…
