Thanks~ for choosing to read my story. I would have posted this earlier, but when I tried to submit the finished product, something happened to the website....And I lost all my wonderful hard work lol. Haa~ saddest part is that I don't write down my stories. Anyway~ I remembered most of what I typed and wrote it down on paper this time. Also there will be a warning at the top stating if the chapter contains lemon. Also sorry if you're a minor, 18 and younger can not read MA stories. Enjoy~

      Here in the federal era, I decided to stay in the past to be near my friends, that soon become my new family. After defeating Naraku, trouble and kaos decreased, but has not completely disappeared. Which is why Kaede has been training me to become a better miko. Teaching me more things about herbs, medication and the types of demons that I will come to face with in the future. I would just hate it if I just stood by and watch innocent people get hurt by evil demons. So I dedicated my life into helping people as much and in anyway I can. It's a good thing that I have friends like Inuyasha and Miroku. With them around the village is able to sleep peacefully at night. Sango requested to join Inuyasha and Miroku, but I insisted that she stay behind to look after her new born and shippo. I still can't believe Miroku and Sango got married. It's hard to convice me that Miroku, 'the player', was able to step off the court. I'm also glad Inuyasha and Kikyo made up and continued seeing each other. I realized that it's useless to get inbetween them. Im not angry at all and I wish the best for the both of them.

      Koga visits the village once in a while. Mostly to get away from Ayame's stubbornness. Yet it's always nice to see an old friend. Inuyasha on the other hand can disagree, since he still have fights with Koga. Personally, I don't think Inuyasha truely hates Koga anymore, but instead uses him as a fighting partner. I haven't heard or seen from Sesshomaru in a while. Yet Rin would come by to visit me in the village too. Although I can't see Sesshomaru anywhere, I can still since his power flowing as he watches Rin from a distance. I wonder what he has been up to since Naraku's death? I just hope that he has at least found peace if not happiness.

      As the sun started to set, I continued my search for herbs in the nearby forest. Unsatified by the amount of herbs I gathered, I went deeper into the forest. I knew that wasn't a very wise thing to do. but I didn't care. There are people lives in my hands. Besides, I became very skillful with my bow and arrows. I can protect myself. Walking through the forest, I noticed a small bright blue light flash in the cornor of my left eye. Turning towards the source of it, I wonder what it could have been. Going to the direction I saw it come from. I came upon a bright moon that lit a lake below it, making a mirror for it's reflection. As the light also crept on the plants around it. It was so gorgeous. Amiring the view a while longer I felt something land on my cheek. Touching my cheek and looking up to the sky I was confused

      "Eh-rain? The sky is clear though." Looking at my finger tips I noticed it wasn't rain water, but blood.Nervous I looked up and around wondering where it had came from. I forced my view on a figure in the sky

      " S-Sesshomaru-?" I whispered as I saw a big inu youkai flying through the sky. Swaying side to side Sesshomaru started to fly downward into the trees ahead of me.

      I wanted to go forward to see if he was alright, but I knew that if he was actually okay he would kill me. "Does he still look at me as an enemy?" Finally making the desision to go and help him. I followed the blood stain trail that Sesshomare made. Reaching the point of the forest where trees has been snaped like tooth picks and plants trampled over. In the middle of everthing lied a huge inu youkai. Sesshomaru was panting hard as the blood leaked from his mouth and the wound on the left side of his stomach. I stood there observing him, I haven't seen him in that form in a while, he looked so majistic. Even though he was covered in blood. Trying to figure out with to do, I decided to make myself present to him. Steping into his view, a strong growl from him made me stop in my tracks. His red eyes was locked onto my brown eyes as his teeth flashed at me. His front paws dug into the soil beneath him. "I wonder if it's too late to turn back around?" I thought as I started to regret my desision.

      Raising my hands out infront of myself, I slowly took a step towards him. "Sesshomaru. It's me, Kagome. I'm not going to hurt you."

      Growling again I stopped to take off my bow and arrows, tossing them down to the ground far from my reach. Holding my hands back up into view, I deared to take another step towards him. "See? I don't want to hurt you. i want to help you."

      "I don't need help from a human. Go away!" his voice was deep with a echo as he snorled.

      I clenched my hands into a fist as a responce to his comment. "It doesn't matter if I, a human, want to help you. Your obvously suffering. So I want to help ease your pain."

      With no more words from him, I took a wild guess and thought he was going to let me treat him. Taking a few more big steps toward him that closed the gap between us. Placing my hand on him, it disappeared into his furry white coat. Feeling the base of his body, I used both my hands to feel and calm down his heart and breathing rate. Once he had calmed, I looked over to see the big patch of blood that stained his white coat. Moving my hands to that area, I shifted the fur aside to see the cut that was placed on him. "Urg-...Now the blood is bothering me."

      I could feel his eyes piring down at the back of my head. "What's taking so long?" a small growl started to form.

      I darted eyes at him "Can't you go back to your normal form? It would be much easier to fix the wound that way."

      "This is my normal form." the look in his eyes spelled out t.e.a.s.i.n.g as he looked me in the eye.

      Frowning I bit my lip from saying anything that might get me killed. I was shock that Sesshomaru was being humorious at a time like this, or at anytime at all was impossible to believe. "I have to hurry and heal him. He must be losing to much blood to be acting this way." Sighing at the big task that I gotten myself into, I started with pouring water onto his wound. Getting rid of dirt and grems. I could feel his skin twitch under my hand as I poured it onto him.

      "Sorry the water is really cold. That cold lake back there is the only water source nearby." 

      He looked way from my sight. "What are you chattering about. Im not weak or sensitive like you are girl." Kneeling his paws down infront of himself he rested his head on top of them.

      "Of course not." I uttered as I craked a angry smirk.

      As I rubbed already made madication onto his wound, I grinned at the good idea of making medication before leaving this morning. After rapping the gash up with a bandage, I softly patted it smiling up at him.

      "Is that better?"

      Still not looking at my direction he uttered a "Hn."

      I sighed with a disappointed look on my face "The least he could have done was say thanks! Although he never asked for my help in the first place....Hmm." Giving up on the debet that was going on inside of my head, I sat down by Sesshomaru. Leaning my back onto his stomach his head lifted up in surpise. Looking up to the sky that was filled with dozens of stars I felt good as I relaxed my muscles.

      "What do thee think is doing?" I could tell that there was a discusing look on that doggie face of his.

      "Resting from a job well done." I wasn't really scared of him at this moment, because he can't move due to his condition right now.

      "Don't you thing your half demon lover is worrying about you right now?"

      Looking down I felt my face grow wary. "Yea right, his too busy with Kikyo to have even noticed that I was gone for so long." Gasping I caught myslef from becoming angry "Baka Kagome!! I thought I was over this already?!" I squeezed my eyes shut as it was being covered by my bangs. I could tell Sesshomaru had caught onto my visible emostion.

      Lefting my head and looking into his pink eyes I smiled "I have no such thing as a lover. Besides, Inuyasha knows that i've become strong enough to handle myself." my smile became warm towards him now "Anyway I have to stay here and make sure you heal properly."

      Snorting he looked away in a fail attemt of hurting my feelings. As the night grow darker, it also became colder. I started to shiver from the cool breeze that came and left now and again. Upset that my kimono isn't thick enough for the sudden change in the wheather, I felt something soft crossover my body. Opening my eyes to Sesshomaru's tail wrapped around my body I looked up at him in shock.

      "Troublesome woman." I heard him utter as he continued to sleep.

      It was suddenly so warm now and became easier for me to sleep. Laughing a little I whispered 'thank you.' in reponce his ear purked up to the sweet words spoken to him.

Afterwards: Haa~ it's 1:40 am right now and I have to wake up for school at 5:00 am. Oh well at least I was finally able to post up this chapter. Things just kept getting in the way when I wanted to work on it lol I hoped you enjoyed it, and look forward to more, bye-bye :D
