He was spurred to go on a search. His brother had threatened to pay him a visit. It had taken Inuyasha almost an hour to find him.  All he had to do was trek further into the room. His nephew was on floor out cold hidden on the other side of his bed. Inuyasha hauled him onto the mattress quickly and set to wake him up.

The preparations had taken a few hours, but he was certain that it would work. “Alright you bastard, try this on for size.” Inuyasha dumped ice cold marbles all around the body.  After several minutes of waiting Sho still remained lifeless.  “You’re tougher than I thought. Guess it’s time to bring out the heavy artillery.” Inuyasha open fired with a water pistol, played heavy metal, and smacked iron pans. But still through it all his charge remained unfazed. He was left with one more option.

The doorbell rang once.

Inuyasha snatched him inside.

“What’s the meaning of this?” Gurinman protested.

Inuyasha led him to the unconscious male.

Gurinman rushed over to check Sho’s pulse. “What in the world has transpired?”

“The hell if I know. He was like that when I found him.”

The lawyer took out a handkerchief to wipe his head. “Well his breathing’s ok none the least. That’s good but I’m still worried. Why’s his body so cold and wet?”

Inuyasha looked away and closed his eyes. “One of life’s greatest mysteries?” His bare foot stepped on something hard. He yelped in pain before crouching retrieve it. Brown eyes narrowed at dark object.

Gurinman snatched the half-eaten beet. “Has Sho been eating these?”

“Yeah...more than I care to mention.”

“Idiot! How could you be so utterly negligent?”

Inuyasha shrugged. “What’s the big a deal? It’s not like the stuff’s toxic or anything.”

“To someone used to demonic food, sure, but as far as we know he was raised human. Do you have any clue how much he's eaten?” Fear crept in Gurinman’s voice. “I don’t know what effect that this’ll have. He could very well be trapped in a coma for months! Even years!”

Sho suddenly stirred awake. He greeted his company with frosty eyes.

"See?" Inuyasha smirked triumphantly. “Told you he'd be fine.”
