Emerald eyes followed the miko’s graceful movements with an easy heart. He had known her for years now and he was glad she seemed so content.

“Stop staring, you perv,” growled Souta as he elbowed his best friend, “It’s just…weird.”

Shippo rolled his eyes and grinned, “Kagome-oneechan! You look so pretty,” he said and his grin grew when she beamed at him, “Who would have thought you would date a Daiyoukai.”

At this Kagome blushed, “A big surprise, ne?” she offered sheepishly.

Shippo smirked, “Tell the big dog he has to ask for my permission. I am your Onii-chan too.”
