Forgot That She Could Do That

The second I sat back down on my chair, Kagome’s eyes turned a bright hue of blue, and a pink light exploded out of her body.

I covered my eyes with the back of my hand and felt a slight tinge of pain.

When she was done trying to kill me, she began ranting about disrespectful demons and dog-eared idiots.

I looked at my arm, already healing itself, and saw something akin to a mild sunburn. Tilting my head to the side, I wondered why I wasn’t angered by the notion of her thinking herself powerful enough to purify me.
