I looked around deliberately, trying to avoid my father’s coming interrogation. The foliage was truly a sight to see. Shades of bright yellow and orange were all around; some tree leaves were even tinged with red as we were coming closer to the end of November.

I felt my father warn me with a pulse of his youki and sighed.

“We met three months ago or so.”

“How?”

“On a blind date.”

“Blind date?” his eyebrow arched in disbelief.

“Inuyasha became more annoying than usual – to the point where I had to say ‘yes’ to get him off my back.”
