Lick

She had asked to go to a café after the movie.

“Are you sure you don’t want any ice cream?” Lick, lick. “You’re just gonna sit there and stare at me while your coffee stares at you?” Lick. “If you dunno what to get, I can,” lick, “totally choose for you.” Lick.

I narrowed my eyes, spotting the perfect set-up to show her who was in charge.

I leaned forward, closing the distance between us. Caught like a deer in the headlights, she could only gape as I licked the fugitive drop of chocolate on the corner of her mouth.
