Sango came back from the kitchen with a solemn look. I honestly didn’t know why the miko was taken so aback by Inuyasha’s foolishness. It was a trademark in him.

Meanwhile, the monk and runt engaged in a quiet conversation about the weather.

“Man, it’s so hot these days. We should do something fun!”

“We should go to the beach soon,” Miroku suggested. Then, his eyes glistened, and he turned to look at Sango. “You can wear that two-piece I got you.”

Sango blushed furiously, and I couldn’t help but to be proud of my newest ally.
