The miko threw her gaudy socks at me and I caught them with one hand. Her smile was so genuine, I couldn’t let myself feel any regrets over my lack of description.

She leaned forward and spun the bottle.

“Yay! Me and Inuyasha. Truth or dare?” she asked, exuding joy.

“Truth.”

“Ha-ah! Proper English,” the houshi chastised.

Inuyasha smirked, got up, and ran to his room. I heard him open and close some drawers and return before anyone could even wonder where he was.

As soon as he stepped into view, the circle went on a full blast of mirth.
