A ‘go away’ roared right away.

“Mom, it’s me. Open up.”

“I said GO AWAY!”

An eyebrow twitched, a fang poked out his grin. Taking a deep breath, he thumped her door harder. “Kagome Higurashi, I'm respecting your privacy by knocking but asserting my authority as your son by coming in anyway!” A bustling sound came from other side. The door suddenly opened and he was immediately ushered inside. “Aw, here I was hoping you’d have left me out there a bit longer.”

“And risk letting you bust down my door again? Yeah, right!”
