She wanted to ask him what he meant, but was interrupted by her friend’s untimely call. Turning back around to where Roctis just sat, she was disappointed when she found him gone.

Inuyasha emerged from trees, taking a seat beside her. “Here you are! Everyone’s been lookin’ for yah.”

An exasperated cry escaped her mouth. “He can just be so…so stubborn sometimes!”

White ears flattened, he retorted with a sarcastic huff. “Gee…I wonder who he gets it from?”

“This is serious Yasha! He could really be in trouble.”

“Roctis can handle himself. We are related after all.”

Kagome’s uneasiness grew.
