The sudden twitch on his right shoulder gave him pause.

With the tic of an eye, a deep sigh was released.

Edging towards hyaline water, Seiichi peered down and brooded.

Not a single trace of his noble heritage was there to be seen. But the reflection he saw, though unfamiliar, was still very much his own.

Smoothing away a long raven tress, his hand lightly hovered where mass fluff should have been.

Mokomoko-chan. “Return.”

The ocean answered with distorting ripples.

His immediate response was a scowl.

Sulking back up to the marked sandy trail, he continued along the coastal shore.
