A/N: Ok. I've written and rewritten this chapter at least three times, and I like this one the best out of the three.

Also, Takahashi-sensei still holds InuYasha captive.

Chapter 6

No Future Here

And suddenly, Kikyo was alive again. Gone was the woman with the stone cold heart, back was the compassionate miko InuYasha fell in love with.

For a month after the battle, the two would walk off into the distance, hand in hand, staring into each other's eyes for hours on end. It was as if Kikyo and InuYasha wanted to make up for all of the time they had lost because of their tragic past.

Kagome wanted to gag.

She quickly realized there was no future for her in the well, no love left for her, and so she left.
