In which a talent of Kagome's is discovered

As the trio made their way into the cave Kagome rushed forth more quickly than the others, she really, really hated the rain.  As they finally got into the cave they saw her cowering against a wall, the young miko was shivering and as the youkai’s thought about it, it most likely was cold to a human.  There was a crisp scent to the air and the cold was perceptible.  Naraku decided to look around to see if there was anything that could make their confined stay a bit more comfortable.  He had never had problems seeing in the dark before, but now, it was light everything was lit in light, these full-blooded demon eyes were really something different and he was still getting used to all the changes in his body.  He had noticed his mood and personality had altered too, much of his anger had either been displaced or faded completely.  Different aspects of life that bothered him as a hanyou now had no meaning.  Finally he spotted it in the corner, a stack of wood that should burn nicely. 

“Kagome, you do not happen to have something to light a fire with do you?”

“Yes, I believe I do.”  Kagome said as she paused for a moment.  She had taken to carrying around a satchel rather than that atrociously heavy and eyesore of a backpack that she used to carry with her.  She pulled out some paper and some matches and handed them to Naraku.  She was still feeling awkward because of what had happened to them earlier. 

Before long there was a roaring fire and the three sat around it and warmed up.  Kagome just stared into the fire before a soft aria come from her throat, the singing sound was so sweet it instantly captured Sesshoumaru’s attention as she sang.

“If someone said three years from now

“You have quite a talent miko.”  The stoic demon lord said before turning to look at the raging storm outside.
