In which Kagome's Sass makes itself present

Apogee-The highest point/Apex

Kagome stripped down to take her bath letting her thoughts race at what just had happened.   Naraku was almost, understanding?  Normal?  Accommodating?  It was odd and Kagome could not help the confusion that was swirling around in her brain.  She sighed and pulled her knees up to her chest as she sat in the hot water just reflecting.  She watched the moon and realized it was at its apogee right now and looked at it, it was silver and full and made her feel a bit more peaceful.  She finished her bath around thirty minutes later and dressed, then heading back to the campsite, she needed sleep and there had been quite enough thinking for her tonight. 

The next morning she woke up and stretched, she actually felt much better.  She looked at the two without words and then starting heading out.  The followed her naturally and it took two hours for someone to speak.

“Miko, you will tell this Sesshoumaru where we are going.  This is not the direction in which the bandit leaders are.”

“For the spell I am to cast it requires a great deal of power.  It requires me to make a special trip and I need you two as my protectors I will go through trials and be tested to receive the bonus power that I am looking for to complete this mission easily.  Do you have any more questions?  Or can we continue on our journey already?”  Kagome said sassily.

“Quite a tongue on that one, isn’t that right Sesshoumaru.”  Naraku said as he laughed.

“Hn.”  Was all Sesshoumaru said but his eyes had tinged a little red, breaking the priestess certainly would be fun and an experience that he highly looked forward to.
