Nothing was uttered between them while travelling back to the palace in Sesshomaru’s light sphere. Upon arriving, Hideo greeted them with a raised brow as he felt Sesshomaru’s displeasure.

“Your aura is radiating throughout the palace, cousin,” Hideo remarked with his ever-present small smile.

Looking at him pointedly, Sesshomaru commanded in a gelid voice, “Watch over her and make certain that she would not visit any more forbidden places.” With that, he turned into his bright sphere and disappeared.

“Whoa…what have you done to him, Kagome-love?”

“Angry. As usual.”

“Angry is good!”

“It is?”

“It’s an emotion. Usually, he doesn’t have one.”
