Whirling around, Kagome found herself face-to-chest with Sesshoumaru. Too annoyed with the stubborn door to feel embarrassed at having been caught snooping, the young woman stared up at Sesshoumaru expectantly.

"So?" At his raised eyebrow she huffed impatiently. "So; what's behind the door?"

For a moment he didn't answer and she wondered if she would for ever be left wanting. But then a smirk graced his lips as he tilted his head.

"Guess."

"Guess?" Kagome echoed incredulously. Bemused, she set her mind to what could possibly be behind the door, a small furrow of concentration appearing on her brow.

'Well, this is a palace full of youkai, and it is down an eerie staircase, with a door that has no handle...'

"A dungeon?"

Sesshoumaru blinked. "No miko. Our dungeon is not so easily found."

Refusing to allow his words to distract her, the miko guessed again. "A room piled high with jewels and gold? Or other equally expensive and valuable artifacts?"

"You are somewhat correct." He acquisced.

"Which part?"

"The latter."

Many surmisals follwed, some plausible, most perfectly ridiculous. Among some of the more silly suggestions there were; a ballroom full of pink elephants, a mermaid and Inuyasha's baby clothes. Sighing in defeat Kagome looked the daiyoukai in the eyes and raised her eyebrows.

"Okay Sesshoumaru-sama, I give up; what's behind the door?"

Turning to the blank entryway, the demon raised his arms and pushed. Kagome felt her mouth drop open as her eyes widened comically.

"Mystery solved miko. Welcome to this Sesshoumaru's bedroom."
