Disappointment (Part I)

Kagome had bought herself a new bikini in preparation for a season of sunshine, warm breezes and the cool splash of ocean foam as she relaxed by the beach on her fortnight-long holiday. A sweet little number, the strings that held the bra up were easy to secure unaided, and the bottoms had little tassels on the hips that tickled the sensitive flesh of her outer thighs. Sesshoumaru would love her in it, she was sure.

Finally the time came and they packed up their things, drove to the sea and checked-in to the hotel that would be hosting them over their break. With everything being so nice and the scenery so stunning, the miko decided that a visit to the water’s edge was necessary. Shooing Sesshoumaru into the living area of the small apartment, Kagome quickly donned the bikini and twirled in the full-length mirror hung just above the floor. She did look nice if she said so herself.

With a great flourish, the young woman opened the door and looked at the bored demon, waiting to see his tongue roll out or his cheeks redden or his eyes widen. Just a visible reaction was all she was asking for. But as she stood expectantly and the seconds ticked by, it became apparent that he wasn’t going to give her one, and not even a verbal one, either.

“Don’t you like it?”

“…No.”
