All of the somewhat pithy, yet still sincerely meant words of undying love and devotion had simply vanished.

Left as I was without the use of my mental faculties I acted solely on instinct and leant forward capturing the priestess’ lips with my own.

My rash action mercifully ended my mindless reverie, and the first thought that registered in my still addled brain was that the dew would be beading upon the grass soon; this spectacular inanity was quickly followed by the realization that I was kissing the longtime object of my fantasies and amazingly enough she was not protesting.
