After the fifth time her tale of the mighty hunter Orion is interrupted by a yawn, I decide it would be best that we return to camp. If I feel a twinge of disappointment at this, I refuse to let it show.

“Priestess, it is late and you are tired; come, I shall take you back now.”

Her lips form a pout and her hand tightens on mine; preventing me from rising.

“Not yet, please let’s stay just a little longer.”

I search for the strength to deny her; but I too have no wish to end our time together.
