I allow his allegation to go unchallenged, a smirk my only response.

He is mistaken, I have done nothing to lure Kagome from him; he, himself is doing all the work for me. I am merely allowing him to dig his own grave.

Kagome’s reply is far more dramatic as she throws her hands up in the air with clear disgust.
