I am disappointed by the missed opportunity to defend her honor, but I am content to stand back and watch Kagome handle the hanyou….For now.

“I can’t believe you actually punched me in the stomach!!!” Apparently the shock had worn off and given way to anger instead.

A derisive snort is Kagome’s only reaction to the half-breed’s ire.

“Consider yourself lucky I didn’t go with my first instinct to knee you somewhere a lot more sensitive.”

Inuyasha’s eyes widen, before they land upon me filled with accusation.

“This is your fault you bastard; you’re trying to turn her against me!”
